Clinical Supervisor

What You’ll Do

  • Empower Clinicians: Provide exceptional supervision and mentorship to a team of practicum students and Provisional Psychologists who will be applying to CAP, guiding them in delivering quality counselling and assessment services.
  • Provide Counselling and Assessment Services: Offer counselling and assessment to individuals, couples and families.
  • Innovate & Collaborate: Lead and collaborate with a dynamic team of clinicians, sharing insights and strategies to continually enhance our services and outcomes.
  • Grow & Thrive: Benefit from ongoing professional development opportunities, including specialized training and leadership development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Psychologist: Full registration as a Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists in good standing.
  • Experience & Expertise: Demonstrated experience in providing counselling and assessment services to individuals, couples, and families, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
  • Compassion & Empathy: A genuine desire to help others and a deep commitment to client-centered care.
  • Team Leader: Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to a supportive and thriving team environment.
  • Technology Knowledge: Has basic knowledge and ability to use Microsoft applications such as sharepoint, word, and excel.

Background Requirements

Masters in Psychology: The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Counselling, Clinical, or Educational Psychology, be registered with CAP and have 5 years of post-graduation clinical experience.
