Navigating Life's Challenges with Compassion and Clarity

Welcome, I am so glad you are here.

Life transitions and challenges can leave many people feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what to do next. Even with the support from loved ones, it can still feel like something is missing. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space where you can sort through your thoughts and begin to move forward with clarity and confidence. You don’t have to face these challenges alone.

In my work, I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental space, where I combine empathy with a practical mindset for problem-solving. Talking things through—whether or not there’s a clear solution—often brings valuable insights and connections. My goal is to help you navigate personal struggles and professional crossroads, empowering you to move forward with confidence.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in human resources, organizational development, and workplace psychological safety, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my clinical practice. My work is rooted in positive psychology, coaching, and mental health, giving me the unique ability to build meaningful connections, foster resilience, and support personal growth. Throughout my career, I’ve helped individuals and teams navigate complex transitions, deepening my understanding of human behavior, emotional wellness, and the power of compassionate support. I approach my clinical work with warmth, professionalism, and a commitment to helping clients thrive.

I believe in the power of resilience and that everyone has the potential to create meaningful change in their lives. When I’m not working, I enjoy volunteering with animal welfare organizations—animals are incredibly special to me, and I truly value the power of human-animal relationships. Pets play such an important role in supporting healthy living and aging. In the warmer months, you’ll often find me in the garden, adding color and life to my surroundings.

Life doesn’t always unfold in a straight line. I enjoy supporting teens and adults who are facing life transitions, struggling with anxiety or stress, healing from trauma, or seeking a greater sense of balance and purpose. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, practical, and strengths-based, helping clients develop meaningful strategies that feel realistic and sustainable. I also value connecting with individuals who are seeking a safe, supportive space for self-reflection, personal growth, or a different perspective.

My approach is collaborative, practical, compassionate, and strengths based. My role is to help you gain insight and clarity and develop practical strategies for personal and professional growth that feel sustainable and realistic for your life.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

Alongside traditional talk therapy and practical problem-solving, I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). ART is an evidence-based approach that uses eye-movement techniques to help reduce emotional and physiological distress connected to difficult memories and experiences including anxiety, grief, trauma, post-traumatic stress, panic attacks, and physical conditions. This approach is quick and effective, and does not require you to retell the details, and can lessen the intensity of painful images and emotional reactions while preserving the factual memory itself. Many clients find ART helps restore calm, clarity, and resilience.

Career and Life Direction Counselling

I also support young adults and professionals who are exploring career options, navigating workplace challenges, experiencing burnout, or considering what's next. Career assessments can help provide greater insight into your strengths, values, interests, and future direction.

My aim is to offer a supportive space where you can better understand what’s been happening, identify what feels most important, and move toward a direction that feels more aligned, manageable, and meaningful for you.
