How would you describe your approach to therapy?
Today, we understand that therapy is not a bad word. In fact, in the journey of going after the life we want to live, it can help us immensely with navigating relationships, building resilient self-esteem, and coming to terms with the normalcy of failing and getting back up.
But, I know it can still be unfamiliar and confusing to get started and to find the right fit. So, I want to show how therapy can be a place you look forward to, whether it’s temporary, to get out of a rut, or a deeply transformative, ongoing experience. With empathy, humour, and understanding, you can discover that there is room for your view of things, your strengths, successes, and your personality. At the same time, we can work together to discover what patterns in your life could improve further and set intentional goals for this purpose. I take the time to help you explore and understand the impacts of your experiences, accept or let go over the uncomfortable, and practice skills to help you at each stage of the changes you are ready for, or are preparing for. While I will gently challenge you to bring out the best in you, I want to get to know you as a person, and not a set of problems.

More than just my work:
While work keeps me busy, there’s so much more that makes life vibrant. When I’m not diving into projects, you’ll find me soaking up sunny days with my dog and other loved ones by the water, or curled up with a bowl of soup and a good (or questionably bad) show. Other joys include brunch, faith studies, hot yoga, art, & river rafting!
