My approach is person-centred, compassionate, and grounded in openness.

Starting therapy can feel daunting. You might know something isn’t working, but feel unsure where to begin or how to put things into words. That’s okay—part of my role is to meet you exactly where you are.
My approach is person-centred, compassionate, and grounded in openness. I believe in creating a space where you feel genuinely heard, not judged or rushed. I value active listening and take the time to understand your experiences, your perspective, and what matters most to you. From there, we can begin to make sense of things together.
I aim to offer both empathy and clarity—supporting you while also helping you gently explore patterns that may give you the feeling of being stuck. Whether you’re navigating a difficult period, feeling overwhelmed, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Building a trusting relationship is at the forefront of my work. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe to be open, explore your thoughts honestly, and take meaningful steps toward change at your own pace.
My Experience
Harven Kang is currently completing his Master’s in Counselling Psychology and brings a range of real-world experience into his clinical work. He has worked in both long-term care and the mining industry in human resources, with a focus on psychological safety. These roles have allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life and develop a deeper understanding of the unique challenges individuals face.
In long-term care, Harven witnessed how meaningful it is to feel heard, supported, and treated with compassion—especially during vulnerable moments. In the mining industry, he worked closely with individuals and teams to support well-being and help foster environments where people feel respected and able to be themselves.
These experiences have shaped how Harven views people and their stories. They have deepened his appreciation for resilience, relationships, and the many ways life can feel challenging at times. He brings this perspective into therapy in a way that is grounded, compassionate, and relatable.
Above all, He aims to connect with people in a genuine way and offer support that feels both meaningful and practical for where they are in their lives.
